The operation of the Business Cooperation Center is dictated by the dynamically changing situation on the labor market and the expectations of the business environment, as well as the need to build the image of the university open to representatives of the non-academic community, sharing knowledge and ready to cooperate not only on the scientific level, but also practical, involved in building a knowledge-based economy that uses science and knowledge in the process of development of the individual and society. The need to professionalize the activities of universities in relations with the environment is of great importance.

The basic tasks of the Business Cooperation Center concern the coordination of cooperation between the Wrocław University of Economics and the social and economic environment. In particular, the Center deals with:

• researching the needs and expectations of entities from the socio-economic environment,
• stimulating the processes of permanent cooperation with partners from the University’s environment, its establishment and development,
• coordinating the flow of information between entities of the socio-economic environment and organizational units of the University, in a way that ensures professional service from the beginning to the end of the process,
• mediating in establishing contacts between students, the University, employers and labor market institutions, including internships, work and internships,
• coordinating the process of involving outstanding graduates of the University in various forms of scientific and professional career development of the most talented students,
• implementation of projects and development programs in cooperation with business, including consulting the educational programs proposed by the University, increasing the involvement of practitioners in the didactic process,
• organizing seminars and conferences at the university-business interface to exchange experiences and promote the University’s achievements,
• undertaking activities aimed at developing relations with entrepreneurs.

inQUBE supports the economic activity of the academic community: employees, students, graduates who are entrepreneurs or who intend to start a business and enterprises in the form of SMEs, through substantive activities and, inter alia, by providing office space with the necessary infrastructure.

The University of Economics in Wrocław offers expertise, analyses, opinions on innovation (for the needs of EU projects) for enterprises, and also performs research work consisting in creating a new (or significantly improved) product or service as part of co-financing for entrepreneurs such as the Innovation Voucher, Fast Track, etc., the university specializes in the area of ​​management (including IT tools supporting management, e-commerce, etc.), finance, as well as food and nutrition technology.
